Abstract
|
|
|
The authors studied the hemolytic action of propylene glycol on rabbit erythrocytes and obtainded the
following results:
1. Propylene glycol caused hemolysis in vitro and in vivo.
2. Propylene glycol increased osmotic fragility of rabbit erythrocytes,,
3. Albumin, dextrose and blood plasmai protected erythrocytes against propylene glycol hem)lysis.
